The tonality!

We as photographers, tend to create photos which are appealing in colors, composition, subject, light etc. But often we forget one important factor, Tonality. Tonality is an important part of any photograph which enhances the beauty of the picture if achieved properly. The tonal ranges help in achieving long lasting impression on the viewer also helps the user to connect to the image. Here is an attempt to achieve the tonal ranges alone. I might publish few more images on the similar lines. Appreciate your feedback.

I took this image in Tanzania last year. It's called Mlambe falls. 3 km of refreshing trek lead to this magnificent falls. Note: Click on the image to see it full screen.

This time my expectations were to get few different compositions. Like always nature had other plans. Below are few of my attempts at getting different perspectives.
